What is Hatsy Silk Tech?
Every Hatsy is lined with Grade 6A Mulberry silk, the highest grade in the world. But silk built for a pillowcase isn't built for a hat, so we tune ours specifically for headwear: optimised weave density to handle constant movement, treated fibers to better resist sweat and oil buildup, and a finish that stays smooth wash after wash. The world's finest silk, engineered for the hat you actually wear every day.
More silk than you think.
Every Hatsy hat contains six distinct silk components. Not a patch. Not a strip. A full interior system -- designed to protect every part of your head that touches the hat.
The entire interior crown is lined with 6A silk. Every surface your hair touches from the moment you put the hat on.
The sweatband touches your forehead all day. In a regular hat it is cotton. Ours is pure silk.
The adjustable strap is lined in the same silk as the rest of the interior.
The side panels are fully lined, protecting your temples and the sides of your hairline.
The underside of the brim is silk-finished, eliminating any rough edge that could contact your forehead.
Every silk panel is stitched by hand. Not machined. Each seam placed individually.

Every Hatsy is handmade, not mass-produced. Each hat is cut, stitched, and lined by skilled makers who have spent years learning how a hat should sit, hold its shape, and wear in over time. It is slower this way, and that is the point. Machines can move fast, but they cannot feel the tension of a stitch or notice when a seam needs an extra pass.
