Inside Matters.
We built Hatsy because we wore hats every day and knew something was wrong. Not with the look. With the inside.
The hat that started everything.
We have always worn hats. Every day, every season. And for years we accepted something we should have questioned: why does wearing a hat make your hair worse?
The answer was simple. Cotton and synthetic linings create friction, trap heat, and absorb moisture. Every hour in a regular hat accelerates hairline damage.
We built a hat around silk -- not as a gimmick, but as the fundamental reason the hat exists. The outside is the part you see. The inside is the part that matters.

WHY HATSY?
Your hair, your scalp, your skin shouldn't pay the price for a great-looking hat. Traditional cotton and wool linings tug on strands, soak up your hair's natural oils, and create the friction that leads to breakage, split ends, and frizz. Every Hatsy is lined with smooth, breathable silk because what touches your head all day should care for it, not work against it.
We started Hatsy because we love wearing hats every single day. But we got tired of choosing between looking good and doing right by our hair, our hairlines, and our skin. Hatsy ends that trade-off. You get the hats you actually want to wear, with a silk interior that keeps your hair hydrated, your edges intact, and your skin clear of the sweat-and-friction acne that regular hats leave behind.
Wellness shouldn't only happen at night when you put on a bonnet. Hatsy brings the benefits of silk into the hours you're actually living your life, whether that's at work, on errands, on the trail, or out with friends. It's a small daily upgrade that compounds over time: less breakage, more moisture retention, fewer breakouts, healthier hair and skin. No new routine required. Just a better hat.

Dr. Robert Dorfman.
As a physician, my standard for recommending any product is simple: does the evidence support it? With silk, it does. Silk fibers are smoother than cotton or wool, which reduces the friction that drives hair breakage, split ends, and frizz. Silk is also far less absorbent, so it preserves the scalp's natural oils instead of stripping them, and it contains sericin, a protein with documented antimicrobial properties that helps reduce the bacterial activity behind acne mechanica along the hairline and forehead. It is hypoallergenic, breathable, and gentle on sensitive skin. What Hatsy does well is take a product people already wear daily and quietly remove the downsides, protecting hair and skin during the hours they are most exposed.
