The Silk

What kind of silk do you use?

Grade 6A Mulberry Silk -- the highest classification available. Not satin, not a blend. 100% real silk.

How much silk is in each hat?

Six silk components: full crown lining, sweatband, strap lining, side panels, brim underside, hand-stitched seams.

Is it real silk or synthetic?

Real silk. Always. Synthetics do not have the friction reduction or breathability of genuine silk.

Does wearing a hat damage your hair?

Yes, when the lining is cotton or synthetic. Silk eliminates this friction entirely.

Will silk help with acne?

How do I care for my Hatsy?

Spot clean only. Do not machine wash. The silk lining is delicate.
